The Famous Chimney
One of Sail Rock’s most iconic features is its chimney, a thrilling vertical passage that allows divers to swim into the rock at 18 meters. Ascending through this natural tunnel, you can exit at either 12 meters or 8 meters, providing an exhilarating experience that showcases the rock’s fascinating geological formations.

Fun Diving at Sail Rock Includes
Dive trip includes; 1 or 2 dives, all required dive equipment, dive guide, breakfast, lunch, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and soft drinks. Free resort transfers are included from most locations. Taxi fee of 400 THB per person, per day is payable if located in Thong Nai Pan. No Haad Yuan or Haad Tien transfers. Snorkelling is also available on this trip – you can book here. Start times vary, depending on where you are staying on the island. Hotel transfers are included* and are between the hours 06:30 and 07:30. The dive boat leaves the pier at 08:00. You return back to your hotel around 15:00.
ADD A PADI ADVENTURE DIVE
Build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different PADI Adventure Dives while fun diving at Sail Rock. After minimal theory, you can try out dives from a range of different specialties. While gaining experience under the supervision of one of our experienced PADI Instructors. Log an Adventure Dive and develop capabilities and learn new ways to have fun scuba diving.
Get credits! Each Adventure Dive is a credit towards the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver Course. Can also be use towards the PADI Adventure Diver Course or PADI Advanced Diver Course.
While fun diving at Sail Rock, why not enjoy a third dive by taking anyone of the following PADI Adventure Dives:

I have to thank asia blue and all its staff for another amazing diving experience with them. This was my 3rd stay at phangan and my 3rd trip diving with asia blue and it just keeps getting better. The staff and instructors are second to none and I have learned so much from them.
They have vast knowledge of everything you could wish for from you’re diving experience and are so much fun too. Sail rock is an amazing place to dive I have dived it probably 50 times and every time is different and magnificent and I have been lucky enough to see whale sharks on all 3 visits. It was an amazing experience to swim with Adonis the resident hawksbill turtle, Baloou and all the other amazing life there.
I would especially like to thank my friend Olesya yan who is the amazing resident photographer/videographer for making my dives so much more special and teaching me so much. I would certainly recommend anyone diving to book Olesya for photo’s video’s of you’re dive they are Beautiful stunning and amazing and will treasure all you’re amazing dives at sail rock and trust me every dive is unique and amazing.

A great team of young and experienced dive masters who made the whole day’s experience easy for us mature divers. They helped us with our kit and prepared everything – all we had to do was step in and get wet!
Unfortunately the weather turned on the way to Sail Rock and after the fist dive with a 2-4 metre swell the Captain called it a day and we headed back to port. Yes the weather was rough but that’s what weather is. We were refunded the cost of the second dive without hesitation. We managed one dive which was amazing even with poor viz. Pity we didn’t have time to return when the weather was more favourable.
The team were obviously very professional with much emphasis on fun but safely being paramount. We were thoroughly briefed pre dive so we all knew the dive plan. Big thanks to Pedro who battled with the waves to get us back on board and guiding us on our amazing dive.
I would recommend Asia blue without hesitation.

I first done my refresher with Gary at the hacienda who’s was a great teacher and really made you feel confident about diving.
The following day I went on a day trip solo to sail rock. What I can only describe as an amazing experience with very friendly staff who made me feel very comfortable. My dive instructor was Gillian who was very knowledgeable and made for a great day of diving, she was kinda of funny too (don’t tell her I said that)
If your thinking about diving Asia Blue is who you need to go with.

Partner & I did two fun dives out to Sail Rock with the Asia Blue crew & would highly recommend joining them if you’re considering visiting this site. Simple breakfast & lunches provided, pick-up & drop-off from accommodation. Crew were exceptional: fun & easy-going yet all instructors & masters provided detailed individual briefings to their respective groups prior to arriving at the dive site.
Whist we only have our open water qualifications our guide Georgia was fantastic in pointing out interesting points throughout the dive, guiding us through the chimney, & just being a great all-rounder.
Definitely recommended if you’re looking to visit Sail Rock (fingers crossed for that whale shark!!)

I did a single day, two dives, trip with Asia Blue. Both the team, the equipment and the boat was very professionally handled. I would definitely go again.
The trip was to “Sail Rock” for a couple of reef/coral dives. The site was a bit crowded boat-wise, but underwater we rarely saw the other divers.
I would easily recommend Asia Blue and Koh Pha Ngan, as an alternative to more more well known island of Koh Tao.

We wanted to see Sail Rock before the end of our holidays and checked almost all dive centers in Chaloklum.
The good news here: all of the centers showed us gladly their material (BCDs, regulators etc.) and I didn’t see one where I was disappointed.
We finally chose Asia Blue because of the recommendation of a local aquaintance and were completely happy with our choice. We were a small group on the boat. On others we saw huge crowds of divers what we dislike.
Very friendly and competent welcome, good food on the boat, a super sympathetic dive guide (Val) who showed us around Sail Rock in a relaxed way and gave a competent and detailled briefing.
All in all we had two wonderful dives and would chose Asia Blue again next time.

Without doubt the best open water, I have dived with a few others. Asia Blue scuba made my diving fun and safe. Not only did I get free advice, as a avid photographer I was put with like minded divers which I thought showed the Asia Blue attention to details.
They have there own purpose built boats that were comfortable and clean, and all the staff were friendly and professional. The food on board was excellent, all in all I thoroughly recommend Asia Blue to any one wishing to dive or snorkel around those lovey warm clear blues seas that they are blessed with.
I will definitely be returning. Five stars from me!

He has an aire about him that exudes calmness, and it really allowed us to relax and enjoy the dive. Me and my girlfriend were visiting Koh Phangan and looking for a good place for scuba diving. We did not know anything about this island so we just walked into the next office, that was Asia Blue. The staff answered all our questions very experienced, so we had a good feeling about booking a tour to Sail Rock with them.
We can’t really say anything bad about the trip: Experienced stuff, breakfast and lunch, very beautiful dive side (although somewhat crowded), nice weather, …
For me – with only about 8 dives up to this trip – it was important to have an experienced dive instructor. And as luck has it Ramon did a really good job at this! Two days later we decided to do another tour with Blue Asia (again Sail Rock) and again Ramon showed up because he saw our names on the registration and decided to dive with us again. Thanks!

I went to sail rock many times, 2 fun dives In march. One of the best spot around the globe to dive. I also did my DM course there in 2016. The diving crew is fabulous, they will take care of you like if you were part of their family.

I did 1 week diving with Asia Blue scuba and everything was so smooth and organise, as well as the team and staff was sweet and took care of me from the moment I did the booking till propping me back to my hotel (free pick up drop off).
Food on board was good (buffet every day).
Sail Rock was mind-blowing and we had the chance to see a whale shark!
They also provide possibilities to check over dive sites around Phangan and do a night dive.
I definitely recommend to go diving with Asia blue as sail rock is more accessible from Phangan then Koh Tao.

I would definitely recommend going diving with this company. I have done many dives with them and have enjoyed everyone.
My fun dive with Rin was brilliant. She is an amazing dive master and made me feel very comfortable in the water. She was able to navigate the way around the whole dive site.
I really enjoyed my day and will definitely do more dives with asia blue.

Together with Valerio and George I had two very relaxed dives at Sail Rock. It was 16 months ago since my last dive and just took the time to explain everything more detailed and help prepare the gear.
Also, the breakfast, lunch and drinks were included. I was alone with the dive instructor and dive master trainee, therefore we went diving when the other bigger groups at Sail Rock came up and the dives were long (+-50 min).
