PADI Discover Scuba Diving

Wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you would like to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into the Open Water Course, the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program is for you. While not a scuba certification course, the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program (DSD) is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

The DSD Program is designed to introduce non-divers to the amazing world of scuba diving with a light amount of theory and in-water training. When you first experience scuba diving, you’ll discover excitement and adventure. Nothing compares to the “weightless” exhilaration of breathing underwater.

This course is available with Asia Blue – Scuba in Koh Phangan, Koh Samui and Koh Tao.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving Includes:

• Introduction to the world of scuba diving, beginning at our on-site pool.
• Learn the basic safety requirements and skills required to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional.
• Basic training of the scuba equipment you will use to dive with and how easy it is to move around underwater with your dive gear.
• Experience what it’s like to breathe underwater within our pool.
• Learn key skills that you’ll use during your open water dives.
• 2 open water dives from our boat at one of the best dive sites in the Gulf of Thailand.
• All required learning materials and dive equipment.
• Breakfast, lunch and refreshments during the boat trip.
• Resort pickup and drop off.
• PADI Discover Scuba Diving Certificate.
