Zen Beach Koh Phangan is of the most popular beaches on islands west coast, as it is near the hub of Sri Thanu home of a number of yoga studios, schools and wellness retreats. Because of its luscious greenery and coral reef, there are no water sports at this beach. It attracts a mixture of people, such as young families, couples, backpackers, artists, musicians and yogis. The sunset at Zen Beach Koh Phangan is probably one of the most spectacular on the island. It is the perfect getaway for those looking for a unique moving experience at the beach. Zen Beach Koh Phangan

Zen Beach was appropriately nicknamed by local yogis however it is part of Sri Thanu Beach. The Zen Beach in the most ideal spot to watch the sunset given its location on the west coast. Arrive around 5:30pm to catch the rhythmic beats of drums, guitars or djembe and groups of people gathering to meditate or do yoga. Every sunset is unique and so are each night at Zen Beach.

Zen Beach also has another nickname; Naked beach. It’s important to note that it is not an official nude beach as nudism is not allowed in Thailand. However off to the right side of the beach, you may find nude sunbathers and swimmers enjoying everything that Zen Beach has to offer.

Embrace and feel free to join in the vibe and atmosphere at Zen Beach. Sit down on a towel or have a seat at one of the bars and watch the sun go down right in front of you.
